On Semester Significantly Less Awfulness

today was lovely. or at least it got lovely.

because instead of sitting at school after rehearsal for four hours with no car I got to go to Thai Hut with a weird but super fun group of people, and then we drove to Olympia to watch the Washington State Senate pass a Marriage Equality Bill that would guarantee gay and lesbian couples the right to marry. It was glorious. We cheered, we clapped, we went for Dairy Queen, and I was reminded of how much I do love people and everything isn’t horrible.

but oh god, I wish i had written this before I checked grades. because these days that’s all it takes to deflate any happiness of mine. awesome.

sigh.

but still, some faith in humanity. so that’s good.
